The Office Clerk will undertake a diverse range of administrative and clerical responsibilities, including filing, telephone communication, and basic bookkeeping, to ensure seamless office operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date files and records for easy accessibility.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail, including envelopes and packages.
- Manages incoming calls, taking messages or redirecting to appropriate colleagues as needed.
- Operates office equipment, including photocopiers, printers, and computers for word processing and spreadsheet tasks.
- Records minutes during meetings and transcribes dictations accurately.
- Supports office management and organizational procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Performs additional office-related duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), email, internet, Google Notes, and Nitro PDF.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines under pressure while effectively prioritizing and organizing tasks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Experience
- Prior administrative experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Requires sufficient manual dexterity for typing and computer-related tasks.
- Needs adequate visual acuity to view and interpret reports and navigate computer systems
- Occasionally involves bending, reaching, climbing a step stool, and lifting.
Environmental Working Conditions
Frequent exposure to and utilization of computers.
