The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in steering Omni Tax Help’s financial strategy through comprehensive planning, analysis, and forecasting. This role involves projecting future revenues and expenditures, establishing cost structures, and determining capital budgets for projects. Collaborating closely with the CEO and executive leadership, the Senior Financial Analyst shapes company-wide investment strategies and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consolidates and analyzes financial data, including budgets and income statement forecasts, aligning with Omni Tax Help’s strategic objectives and financial position.
- Proposes innovative solutions and recommendations to optimize costs and enhance financial performance.
- Compiles and presents sophisticated reports on financial status, risks, and projections.
- Develops advanced financial models, conducts benchmarking, and performs process analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Executes business studies on historical, projected, and comparative performance to create accurate forecast models.
- Identifies trends, provides actionable insights, and advises leadership on strategic actions based on robust analysis.
- Monitors financial status by comparing actual results with forecasts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging practices to remain a thought leader in the field.
- Partners with management to influence long-term strategic decisions across broad organizational scopes.
- Drives process improvements and policy development initiatives to enhance financial operations.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Deep understanding of current financial principles, accounting practices, tax laws, money markets, and business environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial forecasting, diagnostics, corporate finance, and data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Office, and financial software applications.
- Strong mathematical proficiency, including expertise in arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their practical applications.
- Hands-on experience with statistical analysis tools and software packages.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to process high volumes of numerical data quickly and accurately.

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Requires sufficient manual dexterity for typing and computer-related tasks.
- Needs adequate visual acuity to view and interpret reports and navigate computer systems
- Occasionally involves bending, reaching, climbing a step stool, and lifting.
